Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue provides temporary shelter, food, medical attention, and comfort to neglected and rejected dogs. We seek out new homes for these dogs and try to educate the public about the humane care of dogs. We consider the unique needs of all the dogs in our care and work compassionately to prepare a safe, appropriately socialised dog for a wonderful new life.
We are a non-profit dog rescue based in Mangawhai, one hour north of Auckland. We rescue unwanted dogs, puppies and litters that have nowhere else to go We foster them with people and families until we can adopt them out to their perfect family. We also rehome dogs that are in situations where their owners can no longer provide for them or give them the life they deserve.
Ellie's Canine Rescue & Rehome, is a dog rescue not for profit charity created by founders Vicky and Nicole in late 2019. We take in dogs from private surrenders situations along with working with many Council Animal Shelters across New Zealand. All of our dogs are accessed for any displaying issues then carefully placed into volunteer foster homes where they are taught the basics and cared for until adopted.
We are non-profit animal rescue based in Tauranga. Our aim is to help give animals in need a second chance and finding loving new homes for them.
We focus on reducing stray cat overpopulation by using the trap, neuter, return (TNR) method. We rely on donations from generous people to fund our work. We do not have a shelter but instead have volunteers who foster and socialise our cats and kittens in their own homes until they are ready for their forever homes.
We are Auckland's largest registered cat charity in terms of our size and scope. Collectively our members desex, rehome, or provide lifelong care for more than 2000 stray cats across Auckland each year.

New Zealand Chihuahua Rescue ("NZCR") is a New Zealand registered charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of Chihuahuas and Chihuahua crosses throughout New Zealand.
Chained Dog Rehabilitation & Rehoming NZ is a registered charity that is fighting to end the life-chaining of dogs in New Zealand. We specialise in working with Life Chained Dogs, and have gained many years of experience and expertise in this area. All of the people working with us are volunteers who give their time freely to help those who can’t speak for themselves.
Cat Rescue Wanaka was founded in August 2018 and is dedicated to caring for stray cats within the Wanaka, Albert Town and Hawea area. Whether you are looking to adopt or volunteer, do please get in touch as we have many ways you can get involved and make a difference at our charity.
