Remmers Maine Coon

Fifteen years ago, our love affair with Maine Coon cats began, just like it does for most Maine Coon enthusiasts. It all started when we laid eyes on our very first Maine Coon, and from that instant, we were smitten!

Our cattery, dedicated to these majestic Maine Coons, is proudly registered with NZCF (New Zealand Cat Fancy), TICA, Catz Inc, and United Maine Coon Australia. Our bloodline is a tapestry woven from all corners of the globe, including Germany, Belarus, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Australia, featuring some truly rare silver shaded lines. 

At the heart of our cattery's mission is the pursuit of healthy and robust Maine Coon kittens, adhering to the highest standards of the breed. We cherish our feline companions with boundless love and care, as they are cherished members of our own family.

I wanted more people to experience that and that is what led me to breeding. Breeding is my way of bringing more happiness, community and love into the world. I started breeding because I had been blessed with dogs that had made such an impact on my life, I wanted others to have the opportunity to experience that as well. Labradors in particular had stolen my heart… their unconditional love, their ability to help others — both mentally and physically — as well as their biddability for just about any task you can imagine. To me they are the ultimate family dog.

I have been involved with Basenjis since I purchased my first one (Oskar) in 1997. Stephen joined me in 2002 and has taken to the breed as well. I met my first Ibizan Hound in 1998 but it wasn't until 2014 that I finally added one to the family. Our dogs are our 'kids', first and foremost. They are at their best lazing about the yard in the sunshine, playing chase or curled up on the couch (or in front of the fire in winter). Our dogs are fed a mostly raw/natural diet, and their condition shows that it works for them.

We're a small, farm based kennel dedicated to breeding healthy dogs that have correct conformation and excellent temperaments.
